Baby stands crying, lays down to pickup paci, then stands back up....

My baby is 10 months old. We try our best to follow 3/3/3.5 or 4. Her naps however are usually very short and must be in the car, because unless I'm holding her, she will not stay asleep in crib.

It's like her crib is made of fire.

We started sleep training using CIO. Problem is, she immediately rolls over and stands and cries. She knows how to lay back down, as she does it all day long in a pack-n-play and at furniture.

She will literally lay down to pick up her paci, then STANDS BACK UP and continues wailing.

Idk how to get her to stay down. Eventually she falls asleep due to exhaustion. She cried for 2 hours the first day & yesterday and Im not having a good time.

My son only ever cried for 20 minutes max.

We have tried other sleep training methods but anything with check-ins or me staying in the room aggravate her horribly.

I just... im helpless. Does this pass, do I push through?

Hello!

Moving to the town in fall from out of state.

We ended up here after checking out all the local suburbs (Leander, Liberty Hill, Cedar Park etc).

Looking for any hidden gems you're willing to share! Food places, activities that are family friendly, etc. I have two very young children (2 under 2).

Georgetown seems to be a very family oriented town. Will I find my village here, or are the other suburbs my best bet?
