I (30 m) work as a line cook at a major tourist attraction (think Disney land but not as commercialised)

This is only a temp job for me with a 6 month contract.

To say I've not been enjoying this job is an understatement. One of the issues I've run into is I feel as though I'm held to a high standard then the other junior chef's (35f, 18f) both have been here longer than me but I overall have more experience in kitchens. An example is I'll often get pulled up on a minor issue but one of the senior chef's whereas I'll walk in to a poor close down (not re stocked, poor standard of prep, etc) from the other junior and senior chef's. For the most part I've ignored it and just focused on seeing out my contract but it's becoming more difficult.

.

I was recently pulled up on a minor issue that was fair and valid to be honest. I accepted it and agreed to be more careful in the future. Then (after a day where I already needed to spend the first 30-45 mins of my shift fixing the previous days mistakes) I point out the various issues I've experienced when taking over the area from the other junior chef's, one of which was incredibly dangerous and potentially life threatening (raw meat stored above fruit and salad vegetables, been an issue for months now). The senior chef said he'll investigate and I didn't hear anything for the rest of my shift.

Later on after work I'm checking my roster online and see the junior chef who had been working that area has been moved to a different section where she'll be working with a senior chef Vs unsupervised.

I feel as though I was justified in doing pointing out continued poor work and potentially dangerous habits and being held to a higher standard then the other juniors and sometimes seniors but I can't help feel the asshole as I don't like "snitching" on others as I know myself I'm not perfect.

So AITAH?
