Use case: Gaming (CS2,Rocket league, maybe try my desktop heavier games like Microsoft flight sim 2024 or some simulators), university programs (chemical engineering) and maybe other uses aswell.

Notes: So I have an ASUS Rog Strix from 2021 with Radeon RX 6800M, R9- 5900HX, 16GB ram. Now it has gotten old laggy and I always had a huge problem with portability since it’s heavy and the charger brick is huge. I got a MacBook for university since I have an iPhone and iPad and it helps me with writing and having this so called Apple ecosystem but it cannot run the games I want or the windows programs like Aspen HYSYS from university even when using parallels desktop. I’m studying abroad so I also have a really good gaming setup with a desktop (5080, R7-9800X3D,32RAM) which of course covers all my gaming demands but the problem is portability. Since I bought it to the country I’m studying I cannot take it with me unless it’s confirmed I will be staying at one place mostly. Now the truth is I do not necessarily need such a device right now but I will probably need it in the future much more than now. The thing is I can get it VAT free in the price of 2982 euros and maybe if I sold mine I could get back 600-800 but I don’t consider it in the price. I searched a lot and I could not find any 5090 laptop with such a price. As a student I can afford it even though I would like to do some other stuff aswell like traveling etc but it’s not the amount from my savings I would have used for this. Now I either need someone to justify this buy or someone to tell me it’s better to spend 4-4.5k but when you think you truly need it. Thank you all in advance and sorry for the long message.
