Burlington will not yet release body camera footage from March 11 ICE operation

The Burlington Police Department still has not released the bodycam footage. The Progressive leadership is kowtowing to the police and hoping that it all goes away.

This doesn't concern Mayor Emma. She covers for the police saying, "Burlington has different standards". VSP and SBPD have released bodycam footage (not all of it, but some). Burlington hasn't. Not one frame.

The Progressives on the council seem more concerned with their committee assignments than they do about the brutality from 3/11. There's all kinds of outrage over who-got-what committee assignment. They don't talk about 3/11 anymore. There is not a peep from the councilors.

The Progs like to pretend that they are different and more ideologically consistent. But when they get power, they are just the same -- covering for the powerful at the expense of the people.

When will the Burlington Police Department’s bodycam footage from 3/11 be released to the public?

The 30 days + 2 weeks are up and the city still has not released the footage. Where is the Mayor on this? Where is the City Council on this?

Has the Mayor received this report from the BPD? If so, when is she going to release it to the public? Why the delay?

South Burlington Police and the State Police have released hours of footage, but nothing from Burlington.

We need transparency and accountability. Where is the Mayor on this?
