Signed up with a marketing platform recently that does something I hadn’t really seen before. On top of all the normal marketing stuff like follow-ups, quotes, and past customer outreach, it triggers everything based on weather forecasts.

So when a heat wave or cold snap is coming in, it automatically kicks in. Ads go live, past customers get texted, your Google Business profile gets boosted when people are actually searching, and missed calls get auto-text responses so you’re not losing work when things get busy.

Honestly I’m usually buried in jobs and don’t have time to mess with marketing or tech systems between calls. That’s why the idea of getting ahead of demand instead of chasing it feels pretty different.

Was wondering if anyone here has tried something like this or thinks weather-triggered automation actually moves the needle in HVAC work, or if it ends up being more hype than help?
