I grew up in poverty and worked my way out. AMA.
I grew up very poor - government housing, secondhand clothes, dinners were often toast, tinned spaghetti or two minute noodles.
At 10 years old I decided I didn't want to live like this or for my future kids to live like this and made a plan to work my way out. It didn't go exactly as planned but I am now 27, middle class and a homeowner so I got there in the end. Ask me anything!
