Hi everyone, I really hope your comments and experiences can help me. These are two photos — the first one is from December, and the second one is from today. I have tried several skincare products on my own, but nothing has helped so far. I’m a little hesitant to visit a dermatologist again because of my previous experience. Last September, I went to a dermatologist because I had acne on my chin, while the rest of my face was clear. During the first appointment, I asked whether it could be hormonal acne. She told me it was definitely not hormonal because “hormonal acne doesn’t look like that,” and said we would investigate further. She took samples from the acne and ordered blood tests to check for infections and bacteria, but everything came back clear. At the second appointment, she prescribed one cream to dry out the acne and another one to help renew the skin. She also told me to come back for a pore-unclogging facial treatment. During that treatment, she then told me that the acne actually was hormonal and advised me to return after seeing a gynecologist. At that point, I felt frustrated and lost the motivation to continue, especially because my acne was still mild then. But after that, in December, I started getting new clusters of acne on my cheeks, different from what I had before. I thought it might just be caused by the sun and that it would go away on its own. However, time has passed, and now my skin looks like this — maybe even worse than before (second photo). Now I am pregnant, and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. My chin acne has improved, but now I have acne on my cheeks instead. Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to solve it? I would really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

Now I am pregnant, and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. My chin acne has improved, but now I have acne on my cheeks instead.

Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to solve it? I would really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
