What is your preference when it comes to ACs?

I started a new career recently and got given a Centurion AH as a starter mech. AC20 and a LRM15. Swapped the LRM for a SRM4 and 6. Couldn't swap the AC20 for a BF as I didn't have one in storage, and didn't want to immediatly go looking for one in stores.

After doing a couple of missions, I found the AC20 to be doing more damage than I though, which may be because of the single shot high damage, over the BFs damage spread over the burst shots. The problem I have with single shots is my aim is shit, especially on fast lights.

Whats your preference for ACs and is there a benefit for using one over the others?

What the hell was even that?

Firstly, Dunca Fisher. I both love him and hate him. Although the wittiness is a nice break from the seriousness of Mechwarrior, it also can get really annoying hearing his voice.

Secondly, what kind of storyline was that? I need to win the tournament to stop an assassin from killing the Solaris council, and in the process, Duncan becomes the next commentator.

Honestly glad I decided to play it after skipping it previously. Absolutely enjoyed the chaos and break from all the grittiness!!
