OLED questions, want to like QD but have concerns

QD looks to be an amazing OLED experience, but I am still concerned about some things that make second guess if it makes sense for me and if WOLED is better for me. I would be using the OLED for gaming, watching videos, coding, office work/reading documents and research, video editing.

  1. I live with a window with no direct sunlight behind me. I always like gaming with the lights on but in the night I will close the blinds. How bad is QDOLED with this environment?
  2. Related to the question above. I am worried about text clarity compared to other monitors. Has it improved in newer models? I also heard getting a 4k 27" (the size I prefer) helps with this bc of higher pixel density.
  3. Durability/ease of cleaning. I am worried about micro scratches and accidental damage while physically cleaning. I see the new QDOLED gen4 monitors are better. Also I assume burn in is not a big issue for QD anymore but still an issue.
  4. I hear QD strains the eyes worse than WOLED. I know it depends on the individual but I would like not to harm my vision. I am starting to think this isn't as big of a deal in modern QD panels.

If I were to go QD, I am interested in gen4 MSI models https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-272UP-QD-OLED-E16 or https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-321UP-QD-OLED-X24

Thanks for answering.

Interested in getting an OLED gaming monitor

I have never had an OLED screen before but I see an LG monitor from best buy on diecount and the monitor looks solid all around but I am open to other recommendations.

LG 27 Inch UltraGear™ OLED QHD 280Hz 0.03ms G-Sync® Compatible Gaming Monitor

A few questions,

  1. I know burn in is not as bad as in the past but how bad could it be on this model?
  2. I heard that OLEDs can give you eye strain but that applies to Q dot OLEDs (this monitor is WOLED). Could this LG OLED give me bad eye strain?
  3. How bad is the energy consumption? I heard it is not a major issue but I would prefer not to consume a lot more electricity.

Thanks :)
