Designers, how are you adopting?
Since AI has entered our lives, the industry has been in turmoil, with no one knowing exactly what to do.
I have been restructuring and figuring out my design workflow, pricing, value proposition, time consumption, and whatnot. AI might help you work faster, but paying for those tools requires you to charge more from the client, which is quite difficult for them to understand. Should I put ai as exclusive, 'you want me to use ai or not in the project?'?
I read somewhere that companies are also redefining their junior to mid-level roles.
Personally, Figma is still my go-to majorly. I can design as fast as it takes writing prompt and getting design from ai. Also, I like manual flexibility. With Ai I mostly do the research part, building a persona, searching abt idea n all.
I was curious to know how fellow designers are doing currently. How did you adjust your processes? Especially the pricing and design process? How are you dealing with the client?
