Original dark brown or new light brown on this Brycen?

I ordered a leather band for a different watch, but I mistakenly ordered the wrong band. Instead of sending it back for an exchange, I thought I'd try it on another watch. I kinda prefer the lighter brown for spring/summer wear. It definitely pops more

I just got this little guy today - Rough Ryder 1804 Jumbo Trapper

Definitely not a pocket carry. But, I have no intention of EDCing this beast. This will be my camping food prep knife, so a belt sheath will be fine. No gaps or blade play, a solid pull without being a nail breaker, nice half stop and a good enough lockup for what I'm gonna be doing with it. For $20, this is a 10/10

3 mile hike to my semi-secret campsite this weekend

I did an overnight hike in the Uwharrie NF off trail to a little spot I found last year using the topo map. The site is nearly perfectly flat with zero rocks in the ground, which is rare for Uwharrie. And a small creek nearby. Kinda rugged, off trail hiking to get here. This little spot is fairly open, but all around it is pretty overgrown and not much fun pushing through. So seclusion is all but guaranteed here. The gear I used is a OneWind two man bug net. It's really 1½ man, I'd hate to be in here with another person. Etowah Gear 8x10 silnylon tarp, Hikology UL chair, NEMO Tensor pad, Enlightened Equipment 20° quilt (a little too warm for the mid 50s temp that night), Osprey Talon 44 pack. My tools were a Joker Bushlord knife for camp tasks, Cold Steel Finwolf pocket knife for food prep, a generic titanium spoon, a small bushcraft campfire grill and a Stanley stainless steel camp frying pan. After gathering enough firewood to last the night, for dinner, I cooked a 1.8lb porterhouse steak on the campfire, put a large Vidalia onion right in the hot coals and steamed a sweet potato in the frying pan. Dinner was fantastic. Steak cooked over an open campfire, out in the woods, is just the best. After dinner, I listened to some music while staring at the fire. Then after it got dark, I let the fire die down while watching a movie on my phone, and then to sleep. Clouds rolled in during the night, and I could hear distant thunder as I was making my coffee early in the morning. It started to rain just as I taking my first sip, so I quickly got the bacon & the eggs going. But in my haste, I forgot to take pics of my breakfast. After it was done, I sat under my tarp to eat, then packed up and make the 3 mile hike back to my pickup. At first, I was disappointed with the rain, but it kept me pretty cool during the hike back out

I really don't want to "trial & error" buying bands that may or may not match. Price range about $100, but I'll go higher for something spectacular. I found a titanium Citizen bracelet on eBay, but the pics aren't great and the seller was unresponsive to my request for additional pics

I'm having my bathroom redone, and the custom tiles were delivered today. My contractor took out his Milwaukee utility knife to cut open the boxes, but I said "Wait, I just got a new pocket knife, let me open 'em". He took one look at the Stump Lifter and said "That thing looks awesome, I need one of those". Unfortunately, they're sold out

It's a phone app, not an Amazfit app. But it's nice to get these notifications right on your wrist though
