Hi everyone! I’m a new member here and a vintage collector from the Netherlands. I recently found this interesting Todd #3590 at a local flea market and wanted to share it with the community because it seems to be quite a rare variation.
Unlike the common version, this Todd wears a light blue/white striped blouse (with a "Todd 1965" label inside) and matching dark blue/white checkered shorts and cap with a red vinyl brim.
I did some digging and found a lead on Worthpoint suggesting this specific outfit was only available in the Netherlands for a very short period. The original seller mentioned a Dutch Barbie booklet as proof, but unfortunately, the image of that booklet was missing.
I’m curious if anyone else in the community has encountered this specific variation? Does anyone happen to own the Dutch Barbie booklets from the late 60s that might feature this look?
