As I was checking out at the register I noticed there was 6 Barbies in their own bags behind the cashier. 🛍️👛 I ended up with 4 because it was cash only and I didn't want to use the ATM again 🙃 😅 The outfits look custom made and the dolls are clearly well loved. 🥰💖 I'm going to display them to give them a proper new home. 🏡🎀 I paid $60 ($15 each). 💰💵

Does anyone know about these cute outfits and the dolls themselves? 👗💗 Thank you 💕✨️

Here she is all done! Any tips to keep her hair less frizzy? I plan to use a glue/water mixture as a gel to style her bangs better.

I got two Mackie Dolls in the mail today and they’re gorgeous besides being dingy and some feathers needing to be replaced. I want to clean them in a gentle manner, but I’m unsure if the cloth on a mackie doll can get wet with water or not. They just need a little tlc ans they’ll be perfect! any advice?

I love Barbie dioramas. So creative and impressive. Thought to start some threads beginning with Princess and Pauper :) these are from the calendar, doll boxes, and novels. European Barbie books often have some of the better dioramas and Im a bit jelly of that lol thanks to the collectors out there who snap pics of their books. Add to the thread if you see any more :D

Head sculpt: Barbie the Movie Allan, Body: LOOKS #18.

They have all been rescued from the ladies restroom and cleaned up a bit! A bit of wear and tear on Asia and Africa, but nothing too bad for how they were priced ($50 each). I’m going to try to find feathers to replace the ones ripped off of Africa’s headdress and then begins the hunt for their final sister so I can round out the series ❤️❤️❤️

I found these adorable micro puzzles at Five Below, and I just couldn't resist! I'm not sure I'll ever complete one, but I had fun staging this little scene with Mombie 😁

Who is she? She has big detailed hands and I think model muse body. Her hand doesnt go down to sit on her waist. Its weirdly folded.

The Kens had a great time admiring the trees in Back Bay! Did you know that Boston is an urban forest? Back Bay neighborhood is specifically known for its beautiful pink magnolias 😍🩷🩷🩷🌸🌸🌸🌸. The Ken on the left is Barbie Signature Looks model #4, the Ken on the right is the new Slim M2M Ken. Both in this photo are wearing clothes that I sewed myself.

I'm venturing into customizing my Barbies now. My dolls used to be untouchable... but now I want to play with them, change their clothes, alter their hairstyles... what do you think of this look?

Just as others have found, I'd say Renee is a perfect match for purple haired mermaid Odile! However, the Teresa doesn't match quite as well, but can really depend on lighting angles. I'm still really happy overall with her though! I wanted them to have the same line of bodies 🩷

Interestingly, Teresa's chest doesn't exactly match her own arms. And I personally think the mermaid body matches Teresa's head even less, than Odile to the besties body, so I think Teresa generally might not have a cohesive colour.

FYI just a warning, I found the besties bodies to be very flimsy at the neck and my ones pegs won't stand another swap. I used a hairdryer to heat the heads up, I've not done a swap before.. so maybe I was just too impatient 🤣
