Imu and Elbaph during the Void Century

With the recent chapter, especially with the dialogue between Imu and Loki and his comments on Ragnir, it's pretty safe to say that Imu has some connection with Nidhogg and Ragnir.

He calls Nidhogg a traitor.

He's "nostalgic" of Ragnir waiting for a master.

And even the way Ragnir reacts makes me feel like he also remembers Imu from a long time ago.

I then think about his comments following the death of King Harald:

Imu considers the entire island of Elbaph "of the 'D'!". On face value I can assume that at some point Elbaph was on the same side as Imu during the Void Century. I would even go so far as to say that the King of Elbaph at the time was the last known user of the Nidhogg fruit and wielder of Ragnir and was a close ally with Imu. Most likely was merely a part of his military force given how Imu refers to Giants as battle-loving savages. Imu even calls Harald and aberration. Elbaph had, in the grand scheme of things, basically only recently started to become more diplomatic. The vast majority of their history is violence and war. The connection to Harald was an "unprecedented opportunity" but history does not lie. Imu's history.

I theorize that Elbaph was aligned with Imu but Joyboy soon awakened his Nika fruit, becoming the first incarnation of the Sun God Nika, a deity that the Elbaphian Giants worship. Upon basically seeing their messiah, the converted and aligned themselves with Joyboy. This betrayal enraged Imu. I would even go so far as to suggest that Imu killed the King and previous user of Nidhogg and basically left Ragnir abandoned for years because of this betrayal. This informs the visceral reaction Ragnir has in present time seeing Imu. Imu saw an opportunity to regain the extra military might he had lost so long ago only to be thwarted, despite his rather timid methods in the grand scheme of things, and now he is taking matters in to his own hands.
