Just got a Weber natural gas barbeque and trying to use the hook-up on our balcony.

The size appears to be the same ⅜” but the male end from the hose doesn't connect properly, and instead just slips out.

For comparison’s sake, the quick disconnect piece that the barbeque came with fits fine.

Also not sure how the valve works, as it almost appears to be locked in this position, as there's a notch in the plastic where the QD sits underneath it.
