I have done my fair share of digging garden trenches over the years and have never found a root that was even half this size .. thought I’d struck a parsnip before unearthing the monster
Does anyone know what this may be?
Weighs over 1kg and is not woody .. the exterior actually closely resembles a parsnip except no leaves on the surface nor smell etc.
definitely not horseradish.
It snaps like a root vegetable.
South west England for reference.
