What is the Best way to improve at Math?

I know the title sounds naive. When I say fast I don't mean overnight but I mean by the exam. I am currently working at a pretty solid B and have got As in a couple of past papers but I need an A in the actual exam and I feel like I've kind of hit a plateau? I will obviously keeping working at it as hard as I can but does anyone have any tips that genuinely helped people improve at Math after hitting a bit of brick wall with your progress? For context I do edexcel

I've been seeing pretty much equal amounts of hate on both unis and now I am completely undecided. Is it true that for Manchester I will pretty much have to teach myself pre-clinical years? I've also heard that Manchester students do statistically worse in post-grad exams. Apparently the work-load from Brum is the opposite and absolutely insane. I'm not saying these aren't both great unis because I have more positives about both of them than negatives but the negatives are the things that are making this decision so difficult right now haha.

Hi guys,

I'm currently in year 13 and I need to decide between UoM and UoB for medicine. Both of them have quite contrasting learning styles with UoM being PBL and UoB being more traditional. I know that UoM placements are also a lot more spaced out but you get clinical exposure earlier on in the course. I am also interested in joining the dance soc as I currently dance at a high level and UoM is known for having an exceptional dance soc but that definitely isn't a deciding factor (but it is still really important to me to maintain hobbies outside of medicine). I've done a bunch of research but there seems to be pretty much the same amount of pros and cons to both of them so I was wondering if anyone had any more personal takes on which med school is better right now!

Any advice is much appreciated!!

Should I firm Manchester med or Birmingham med?

Hi guys,

I'm currently in year 13 and I need to decide between UoM and UoB for medicine. I'm honestly really open to course structure and don't have a preference for learning style as I know UoM is PBL in comparison to Brum which is a lot more traditional in terms of structure. My main question right now is about placement years and how easy it is to get to them. The placements for manchester can be a lot further away and I wanted to know if students struggled with the distance or if it is worth it. I also am a dancer and have heard that the dance soc at manchester is a lot better than Brums. Honestly I'm really torn between the two as there are pretty much the same amount of pros and cons between them both so neither stands out above the other right now.

Any advice is much appreciated?
