Help repairing a mount?
Hello! I’m very new to taxidermy and I’ve been scourging around and found this guy! The listing stated that he was fake but I checked it over with some friends who agree with me this probably is a real mount (though if I’m wrong PLEASE tell me!) and I ended up snagging him for around $25?
Anyways the reason for the low price I believe is because of some damage that seems to be easily fixable! I do have some practice in sewing but I do not want to accidentally damage him even further.
I do believe the eye may be a bit messed up as well but honestly I don’t mind something like that since it seems much harder to fix than a tear. He also has a saw tooth hanger in the back- should I replace that with something sturdier?
