22F introduced 26M boyfriend as ‘friend’ at my birthday dinner, how do I address his reaction?

Hi, so 2 days ago i turned 22 and i hosted a huge ass dinner for all of my friends and fam including my boyfriend, i spent my lunch date w my boyfriend, everything went smooth.

For dinner i was actually pretty overwhelmed, (cuz i never hosted a dinner or anything like this), me and my boyfriend decided to show up at the
place a lil early to make sure the setup was fine , when my friends came i MISTAKENLY introduced my bf as my friend to my friends,BTW for the context all of my friends know about me and bf that we are dating and that he is my bf, its just everything was so new, i never attended a friend dinner party and honestly i just graduated from my college so ig im a bit naive as well, but my bf is 4 years older than me, working in a metro city, so he expected me to introduce him as my bf. (again calling him “friend” was non-intentional”

After 15 mins he started giving cold vibes and said “why do you care, im just your friend right” then i felt really bad about that thing, and i apologized, and i guess for the entire dinner he was lil annoyed.

But later that day, i was just thinking that was it soo bad that he addressed it on the day that i was planning for so long and i was so happy and nervous for, was it really that big of a mistake, i felt bad also cuz literally everyone on that table knows about his existence in my life as a bf including my parents, and from his side i met 2 of his friends and fam for 1 time, and he met 10 friends of mine in a single day.

Ps: What’s the best way to address this without making him feel dismissed?
