Tips for a smoother cruise control in heavy traffic?

Typically I inly use Adaptive cruise control for heavy traffic. Long hauls I like to drive but heavy traffic I get a little bored so I like using the cc... However since getting my 22 XC60 a few months ago I can hardly stand using it because it doesn't seem to look ahead and follow smoothly with gradual speed moderation, it just kinda guns it or slams on the brake. Our 22 CRV and my former 22 Mazda 3 have very smooth cruise control in traffic, but the luxury vehicle is jerky?? Anyone find a good setting or anything to smooth it out?

I didn't hold back on fat in this one, but only 16g carbs and 38g protein. This is a lot of volume, I almost didn't finish it! I also added a few pickled jalapeños, cholula, and crushed red pepper for some heat for negligible calories.

Veggies were sautéed in the butter with s&p, garlic powder, onion powder, and a dash of chili powder. This thing is loaded with flavor. A little high on sodium, but my medications lower my sodium levels, so I can use it.

The 20 mile route was a true feat to accomplish and felt so physically rewarding. The sense of community was stronger with the checkpoints, live music, cheer points, and water/fruits etc. along the way.. the Arsenal park picnic just over halfway was a great rest (as daunting as it was to get yourself back in motion).. Then when your body felt like it would give up you'd be walking along Memorial Drive with thousands of others who were dedicated to the cause and see the most beautiful view of Boston over the Charles and get that final push to get to the finish. I'm still going to participate & support my community & Project Bread, but wow the atmosphere of the event itself is a shell of what it used to be.

I'd really love to see it even turned back into at least 5 miles through the city or something. I could see big success with walking down Commonwealth, cross the BU bridge, back up Memorial, cross Smoot bridge, and back to the Common back down Commonwealth Mall?? I don't know. Anyone else participate and have thoughts about the post-covid changes?
