So I've turned off the always on screen display, I've turned off the screensaver but the clock still shows whenever I put my phone on the wireless charging stand.

I don't want to waste the power because there's nobody looking at it when it's charging. Does anybody know why it still shows the clock even though I've turned off the items that would account for the display being on while charging and not being used? I've tried everything I can think of to turn it off. Does the Galaxy tri-fold just leave the clock on and ignore the AOD and screensaver settings?
