Picking out parts for the first time. Is everything in order?

The case I picked out isn't available on PCPartPicker for some reason, so I'll link the listing on Newegg here. v

I'm very new to all of this, and just came into a sum of money for a PC upgrade ($1,000), so I have a few more questions.

The case has some fans pre-installed. Will those be enough on their own?

The height of the CPU cooler is exactly the max height listed for the casing. Will that lead to any issues or will it just be a bit of a tight fit?

I assume I also have to buy some thermal paste to attach the CPU cooler. Is there anything else I have to buy that isn't listed here?

Should I go with Windows 11 considering that I plan to use this for 3D art and animation work as well as gaming? Or would it be a good idea for me to go with Linux or something?

And finally, does this even have better specs than a prebuilt for the same price?
