okay so I have a question. what’s the deal with the mon calamari arm shells? because pretty much every single member of the species has them except for Aftab Ackbar (from the sequels) and Admiral Raddus, both of them having normal arms, whilst the others have these massive shells protecting their forearms. I’m just curious if anyone knows the reasoning? I thought they may be armour but it matches the individuals skin colour and pattern so I feel like that’d be too much
