My friend who I’ve been on a trip with for Helsinki and Tallinn so far had to leave mid-trip due to a family emergency, so I’m unexpectedly gonna be solo traveling for the rest of it. I’ll be in Riga in a couple days and im trying to fill in the social gap now that it’s solo, but don’t know which bars/pubs/hostel centers/etc are good for solo (American) tourists. Age 25.

I’ll already be in a non refundable hotel in the city center, but I’m also wondering if there are some hostels with common areas/lobbies that are open to other solo travelers who aren’t staying at that hostel? The crowd there would obviously seem a little easier to connect with

I’ve got one phone number. It’s tied to my current Apple ID on my current iPhone. I’m making a new, second Apple ID on a new iPhone, but Apple is asking for a phone number as part of the creation process: “Enter a phone number that can be used to verify your identity with a text message or phone call.”

Can I re-use my personal phone number here from my current Apple ID without issue? Will this cause glitches with iCloud services, iMessage, or phone number assignment between the two accounts?

I don’t want to link anything, I’d like for these two Apple IDs to be separate. I want my number to remain functioning as it does now on my current phone & Apple ID. I don’t want any merging. I quite literally just wanna make a new second account but Apple has this pesky requirement.
