Scared about compatibility with Windows to switch to Linux's Beta IDE

So just to explain: I'm switching to Linux from Windows.

I hate Windows. I hate the bloatware, I hate so much about it, and Linux, for me at least, Linux just works. Using Arch and GameMaker Studio runs amazingly on it.

My main concern though, is compatibility:

- Potential of switching back to Windows if something on the Linux IDE breaks or doesn't compile

- Potential of the game compiling properly on Linux but not on Windows

- Potential of my project files working on Linux, but then if I have to switch back to Windows in the future for whatever reason, that they don't work and I'll have to redo the entire project

Am I just being paranoid? Specifically the concern in bold, should I be worried?

If I'm continually pushing the project to git, should everything just work compatibility wise? Or also, can I simply copy the project folder from Linux to Windows and it should work without issues?

Has anyone used the Linux IDE without any issues in terms of the IDE itself, project compatibility, or compile/run issues on Windows?

First time my bag ever leaked.

I noticed a very very tiny hole got pierced somehow in my Hollister Bag's drainage spout.

Don't know how, but thank God this happened while I was at home.

What is your quick fix for this if it has ever happened to you? What usually works to plug it properly without it leaking out?

Is duct tape a good temporary fix until I get home to change the bag? Or could it leak out from under the tape?

Literally can't watch any videos posted on reddit from YouTube.

Where it says "Sign in", it's just underlined text, it's not a hyperlink to any sign in page..

Even when I click the play button in the bottom right corner, it just goes to YouTube's main page, so I have to manually search for the video I was trying to watch..

For people who have ever used barrier extenders around your flange, what prompted you to use it?

If you had a leak and you used it for that, how long did it prevent the leak for?

Or are there those who put these on with every wafer change? Do you use it for sound of mind or because you have constant leaks?
