Hydrostatic Pulley swap

So I picked up this lawnmower on the side of the road for free, so now I'm just wondering on how I should go about to pulley swap it. I understand that, like, there is a risk of doing that and it could explode or seize it up or whatever, but I'm not looking to go very fast. I just want it faster than stock. So, I don't know what size of pulley I should go for that. And I got told that I should go like to a one-to-one ratio with the pulleys. So if I went four inches in the back, I should go four inches in the front. I don't know how correct that is. I just got told that by a friend. So I'm just really wondering on what size pulleys I should run in the front or back, or should I just change the back or vice versa. So I'm just looking for opinions.

What’s a good rock light to get , something that’s good but that’s not gonna break my wallet , I been looking on Amazon and everything there seems mid quality. I’m open to ideas and opinions, and my budget is probably 100
