Help, feeling bummed!

I started working as a CNA about a month ago and I genuinely can’t tell if what I’m feeling is normal new-job anxiety/burnout or if this environment just isn’t for me.

The thing is I actually love the residents and caring for them. But the coworker environment feels super cliquey and judgmental. It feels like everyone talks about each other and if you make one mistake people look at you differently forever. As someone who already struggles with anxiety/overthinking, it’s been mentally exhausting.

I know this job has helped me grow a lot already with discipline, responsibility, structure, etc. but I also feel emotionally drained and dread shifts sometimes.

Did it get better for anyone else with time/experience, or did you realize it was more about finding a healthier workplace?
