My non muslim friends asked me to do a Harry Potter quiz that tells me what house I’m in which I thought was a personality test. The questions includes ; “ Left or Right, Dawn or Dusk, choose your pet, what would you do if someone asks if you are a wizard/witch, what powers would I choose etc”.
Mid way, it occurred to me that this might be similar for me to go to a soothsayer and hence nullifying my prayers for 40 days. I decided to complete it, to which it says something like “black hat is looking at my answer” as it loads what house I’m in. If I remember correctly, I had to create an account where I enter my name and birthday. And after knowing my house I think it also stated my personality. Since the questions are not like factual questions that actually determines them, is this considered soothsaying. Before writing this post, I redo the quiz again to remember what questions was asked. Is it another 40days?
I feel troubled knowing my prayers might be invalid for 40 days. What should I do and is my prayers valid ?
