Do you think my artstyle would be good for commissions? And how much should the pricing be?

Sooo, back when I was a broke college student in 2020, I opened my commissions and got a few takers. Since then of course with me graduating/process of getting a job/moving/ etc I closed shop, lost followers, and went on hiatus. Im in a more stable environment now, and I had thoughts of opening shop back up. But I'm so lost on pricing nowadays. I also feel as if my art style has changed in the past 6 years lol. Does anyone have any advice on opening commissions back up in the big 2026? These are my most recent pieces, fyi!

Yes, im aware im late to the game on reading this book but to be fair I only recently discovered Darcy Coates! So, my questions are about the whole lore of the Arcadia.

Its said in the book that the ship is haunted? But also under the influence of some neurotoxin? Even with that being the case and the whole ship crew going through mad psychosis, HOW would Fitz know that the mummy body (never explained where it comes from btw, other than saying it might have been a worker building the ship) was in that particular section of the hull 😭 If the noises and scratching were paranormal, then wtf was crawling in the walls?

And what kind of haunting or power did this mummy/ghost thing have anyways? Assuming the neurotoxin is what caused majority of the crew to jump from the side of the ship and commit suicide, what was all of the scratching noises and stuff for?

Its also never brought up that Cove finds the note with "Burrowing disease" mentioned in it and the fact that the zombies hate light and all came from dark, cramped spaces. I felt like if they had been trying to figure out what actually happened with the ship and crew, this would have been mentioned more.

The "Pan-Pan" SOS signal is mentioned in the first couple chapters, and once again at around the 75% mark as a flashback, but its an entirely different ship name they get in contact with, and an entirely different person speaking. But the dialogue is the same. That confused me a bit lol.

All in all, it was a delightful and spooky read. I loved the atmosphere, but i felt like it could have done a bit more exposition and explaining!
