Low rev power lag when running at temp
Noticed about a month ago that getting off of a stop after driving for a prolonged period gets what I can only describe as dramatic turbo lag out of a stock Gen2 engine, and I don't have any check engine light or warnings popping up. Even after replacing the oil, spark plugs and transmission (just as general maintenance) it still creates this problem. I don't notice it too often due to short work commutes and not much driving outside of that, but when I do, I *really* notice it.
I'm beginning to think it could be related to the ECU getting too toasty and not being able to run properly after idling for two reasons:
When it gets to temp, the car likes to shake like it has a big subwoofer installed, despite the lack of a big subwoofer (I know the shaking could be caused by a leaky PCV or shot engine mounts - I'm getting the PCV reroute put on soon, and if all else fails I'm gonna have to suck it up and bring it in to a shop if the engine mounts are, in fact, shot)
The engine runs perfectly fine when cruising, no turbo lag, no rattling or struggling.
I know next to nothing about car maintenance, and I'm looking to see if anyone else has/had the same issue with their Cruze and what actually causes it/what the fix was.
