Hi everyone, I’ve recently moved to Chennai and I’m planning to get my Honda Hornet 2.0 serviced (just minor servicing).

I did check a few authorized service centers, but the reviews weren’t very reassuring. Since it’s only minor work, I found a local mechanic shop with good ratings and I’m considering going there.

I’d really appreciate some advice on a few things:

What precautions should I take when using a local mechanic for the first time?

Is it better to stay there and supervise the service?

Which engine oil is recommended for the Hornet 2.0?

Earlier, I used to rely on a trusted mechanic, so I never had to think much about these details. Any tips or suggestions would be very helpful!
