It seems these telehealth companies are so desperate to capitalize on this recent surge that they are acting unethically toward their patients—both medically and financially. Patients who have paid for medications and not received them, received medications they didn’t order, or were sent medications containing ingredients they listed as allergies in their medical intake will likely file numerous complaints with the FDA. This could ultimately give the FDA and Eli Lilly more power to shut it all down.
