I start my run at Biome 1 of course. The first three biomes are manageable, except for the difficulty spike in Strand. Biome 4 is where regular encounters become much harder, there's an encounter where two Biome 3 bosses gang up against you, and that's where I ended my run.

Raising enemies and elite aggressiveness have been my most favorite modifiers since I tried it after beating the game, it add so much to the chaos.
