I was lazying around and the moment I decided to grab a pen and a notebook he comes to me for head scritches
Ok this is a long shot. I recently lost contact with one my most cherished friends and I miss him dearly, especially our chats because nobody around me likes those topics. So I'm looking for someone to talk about: guns (gun nerd in a country where theyre difficult to acquire), outdoor survival and prepping, classic books (english, spanish, someone who likes dissecting themes and literary tropes), noir cinema and literature, would talk to me about warhammer (im not into it but i like listening to someone talk about it), old sci-fi... Bonus points if you're a writer.
I bring to the table: im easygoing, attentive and funny. I love intellectual subjects and learning about stuff i dont know.
Not a big fan of crass humour though, nor rude individuals. Please no under 35 and if your profile is private, just a little introduction to know about you.
Hello, I'm a 4 year PhD student in Philosophy, Mexico.
One of my main setbacks has been my lack of structure and the fact I can't get it right. I've tried everything, workshops, outside editors, books, Pinterest boards with infographics, you name it, and I still struggle with it.
Have you ever had this problem? How did you overcome it?
I'm talking logical and argumentative structure. The kind you supposedly plan before executing (writing).
Thanks!
Hello, I'm a 33 year old phd student who wants to talk about ideas, especifically philosophy, real philosophy not ShowerThoughts nor motivational pseudo self help. I know I sound pretentious, intentionally, because I want to really dwelve into the meaty stuff aka what you think about the social consequences of the Industrial Revolutions. Doing this because doing a PhD is kinda lonely and real life friends aren't into this kind of stuff. My degree is in philosophy, yes a philosophical degree in philosophy, I'm not from an anglo country so that's why is not redundant where I come from. Visiting my profile won't give you much since I mainly use this for lurking Fish Tank advice, another hobby of mine.
