couldnt get Pompeij out of my head - so I brought it home

After visiting Pompeji for the first time a couple of weeks ago I decided to get creative and paint my living room like an ancient roman villa :-)

I am not 100% done yet and some parts need to be painting in a lighter tone, like the plant etc. but I am almost there.

For anyone interested how I did it. I made some design with AI, projected them on the wall, drew the lines and the rest was free hand.

What do guys think?

I finally went to Pompeji and Ercolano last week after years of dreaming about a journey.

As a grown man I constantly had tears in my eyes. I have never seen something more touching and impressive before. Paintings looked like they were made yesterday, the streets used and with a little bit of imagination one can see the busy life of 2000 years ago playing right in front of you.

Everyone who is thinking about going: do it!

Thats the whole reason for this text.
