Where the hell are people getting these jobs?

Where the hell are people getting these jobs?

I’ve also noticed that it’s mainly Asians, especially in the San Francisco scene. I know there’s a tad more to it than opening emails and iced coffee, but what gives? Where can the average person get into this?

7Brew. I spend probably $100 there a month, we recently got a new location. If I tipped every time on those tablets, I’d spend $200 there.

This morning I paid for my small iced coffee and when I selected “no tip” she pulled the tablet away before I could select “finish” and said something like “so it’s me too huh?” I was actually so taken aback that I didn’t say anything and she told me to have a great day and I continued to pull up.

I mean hell, this is getting out of control. I see the stories here but I never thought I would experience it. We tip when we dine out. I’ve always believed you tip with table service, no matter the establishment. We also tip for DoorDash.

But these drive thrus? Like where do you get off expecting something? Keep the option, but to shame me? Some would say speak to management but I’m not that kind of person. Thoughts?
