I just wanted to vent about a customer that I had a couple weeks ago and it’s still bothering me (move on I know) so I get a pickup order for 3 drops off, the first two are totally fine no issues, I get to the 3rd and it’s a pin required however not very many items so I’m not too worried, I pull up to the lady’s house and she’s waiting for me in her drive way with a cart. Great! I get out and I thank her for bringing the cart and helping me, she’s watching me like a hawk the entire time I’m placing her items on her cart, she then asks me if they “keep the orders in the fridge” I said “I’m not sure I don’t work directly for Walmart I just deliver their orders however I am assuming they do keep all perishables accordingly and I actually have to return your order if it’s not dropped off by a certain time” she goes “hmm well my order was done being shopped for at 9 and it’s 11 so” I finish and she starts to walk away and I start to get in my car and she goes “WAIT. my orange juice is wrong.” So I say “I’m really sorry about that, I didn’t shop for your order however you can contact Walmart support and they’ll refund you” (even though it’s her fault she didn’t decline the substitute?) she gives me a look like pile of dog sh** just appeared and it stinks. “Are you serious? Are you gonna go get me the correct one?” I said “no ma’am you’ll need to contact support” and I got in my car and drove away 😭 I get the frustration of not getting what you ordered but if you’re gonna ask a million questions, throw a fit when something is out of stock and you don’t decline the substitute, assume your refrigerated items are being thrown on a shelf and held for hours then go shop yourself, far less exhausting for the entire planet 🫠
