I have developed a neck hump from having bad posture. I'm 15 and it's become probably one of my biggest insecurities. I have tried a few exercises I've found on youtube but I'm not even sure if I'm doing them right. I've also been working on improving my posture simply by setting my shoulders back, looking forward and pushing my head back slightly but this hasn't been turning into much of a habit and my posture is still super sucky.
Here are the 2 main exercises I've been doing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjvswDFJGZ8 - I feel it a lot in the front of my neck and shoulders and not much in the back of my lower neck which causes me to think I'm doing something wrong
"YTW" stretch - basically I just stand there and put my arms into a Y shape, a T shape and a W shape. I really don't think this actually helps.
If anybody has advice for this, especially if there's someone who managed to get rid of theirs, I would really appreciate it. I'm also wondering on how I can correct my posture as well as an estimate on how long it would be before I notice improvements and how long before it's gone.
