I’m looking for some feedback from other OnePlus 15 owners. Since the recent Wild Rift v7.1 Engine Update, I’ve been having major technical issues. ​

The Issue: Even on Medium settings, the phone becomes extremely hot after just 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Once it heats up, I get massive FPS drops, stuttering, and "yellow ping" spikes (input lag), even though my connection is stable. ​

Key Points:

​I'm playing on Medium graphics, and the phone still feels like a heater.

​This started exactly after the 7.1 engine update.

​It feels like the new engine is not optimized for the Snapdragon 8 Elite architecture at all.

​Is anyone else with an OP15 experiencing this? I want to confirm if this is a global software issue with the new patch. ​

I’m writing this to see how many of us are struggling with the game after the latest 7.1 engine update.

I’m using a OnePlus 15, and before this patch, I was playing on high settings with a stable 120 FPS and zero issues. Now, the game is a mess. I’m experiencing:

⚠️ Frequent Crashes: The app closes randomly during matches or in the lobby.

🔥 Overheating: My phone gets incredibly hot after just 5-10 minutes.

📉 FPS Stuttering: Constant freezes and micro-stutters during teamfights.

🌐 Ping Spikes: Unstable latency despite having a great connection.

I’ve noticed that it’s not just a flagship issue. It seems like many people on mid-range and budget devices are reporting the exact same problems. It feels like the new engine is completely unoptimized across the board.

Riot Support is giving me standard "check your Wi-Fi" responses, but this is clearly an engine/optimization problem on their side.

Is anyone else here experiencing this? Please share your phone model and what issues you’ve been having. Let's discuss and hopefully get Riot’s attention on this!
