Yo yo! Recently found my iPod shuffle 4th gen, I had no idea I still had it, it was a very serendipitous discovery.

Anyway, the battery is dusted, I haven’t charged it in 15 years. So I did the whole 12 hour charge, I’ve had it on and off charge for about two days trying to wake up the battery.

It is being recognised by my MacBook at least.

I’ve spent hours scouring Facebook marketplace but every one I’ve seen has also been inactive for years so would likely have the same battery issues.

Those of you that had batteries changed, where did you find them and is a normal iPhone repair place skilled enough to do it?
