Thinking young fans of a movie are wrong because people who were alive when it came out thought it was bad is a profoundly dogshit argument, especially from a guy supposedly so philosophy-pilled. (Don't try to debate me on Star Wars btw I could not give a fuck less about these movies.)

All things being equal, the back straights in China and Miami should see very similar results. Each circuit is quite kind with regard to harvesting, placing #9 and #12 when ranking the most energy-efficient tracks. Their back straights are 1280m and 1310m—the longest on the calendar.
Therefore any marked difference between the two should show pretty clearly how the tweaks in the rules (and secondarily certain upgrades) are changing what we see on track. As you can see, the superclipping is so much less striking in comparison. Red Bull and Ferrari, while also bringing a gang of upgrades, seem to be especially enjoying the change.
A couple things that jump out besides the reduced clipping:
- In China, Kimi's top speed was 6kph higher than the rest, while in Miami Max was able to match him.
- In China, Max and Lewis lost 0.298s and 0.525s to Lando superclipping; in Miami, Max and Lewis gained 0.187s and 0.034s on Lando—a half-second delta in each case. While that may not be the new norm, the general trend is clear and clearly different.)
