I know a lot of school districts are going through surplus and other challenges in education right now.
As someone on an LTO contract (not permanent), my contract ends this June…
I’ve heard the first vacancy round postings, but those are mainly for contract teachers. Right? I do have my eligible to hire letter, but I’m honestly unsure when I should realistically start applying or expecting movement.
The uncertainty is tough 🥹 I can’t afford to not be employed by September. I need stability and I need to live my life too.
If anyone has insight or is in a similar position, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience.
