Anyone know a lawn guy?

Grass is starting to get out of hand and I haven’t had much time to deal with it lately. Mainly just looking for someone around Columbia that could do a quick mow without setting up some long-term service.

One time lawn mowing?

My mower gave up on me this week and the grass is getting a little out of control lol. I only need someone for a one-time cut while I decide if I’m fixing it or replacing it, but most places I’ve looked at seem focused on recurring service plans.

Anyone around Royal Oak know a good option for just a single mow?

I’ve been going down a bit of a rabbit hole on this over the last couple of weeks and I can’t shake the feeling that we’re not really prepared for what’s coming

At first it just felt like another AI discussion but the more I looked into it the more it started to feel like something deeper about authorship itself

Right now most of the focus seems to be on detection trying to figure out if something was written by a person or not but that approach feels unstable It’s inconsistent easy to get around and sometimes even questions writing that is actually human

It also feels like trying to judge the final text might be the wrong place to solve this Maybe the question is less about what was written and more about how it was written

If this keeps scaling the problem doesn’t stay online Writers can get questioned even when their work is original students might not be able to defend their own work and even written evidence becomes easier to dispute It starts to shift the baseline of trust

That’s the part that feels bigger than just AI getting better It feels like we don’t really have a solid way to verify authorship at the source

I keep wondering where this goes in the next few years Do we move toward systems that verify writing as it happens or do we just get used to a world where written content always carries some level of doubt
