Should I wait NG+ to add faith/int to my build ?

I want to try a dex run, but I would like to use miracles or spells instead of pyromancy. The problem is : stats. Should I wait NG+ to increase faith or int ? Or is it possible in NG without using magic/divine weapons ?

This boss is a masterpiece ! A sword fight with him is really nice. I love having to dodge him in the large arena even if it is possible to block one attack, and learning his numerous moves. It's not like fighting that stray demon which is as big as its room or Nito, that you can kill by using a def buff and hitting as hard as you can.

I tried almost 15 times, mostly with my beloved claymore+10 and light armor, but this guy has so much HP and is so aggressive, he's destroyed me easily. Now I understand why a lot of people like Zwei ; with a heavier armor, it's incredibly efficient (took me just 3 tries). It's not a slow weapon that lead you to your death because you get hit twenty times before finishing your attack ! Sorry for having underestimated ultra greatswords.

I used a Fire Keeper soul and thought it was Anastacia's... before realizing I just arrived at Anor Londo 😅

Do you fear using her soul every time you improve estus too ?
