How many of you guys have parts of or the full gold set? I just got it and I wonder what your experiences getting it were. For me, once I started trying, it went rather fast. I was also pretty surprised that beating all the ghosts was much easier than what I expected. Overall most of the journey was a really fun one to me.

so I I'll go first for my Kary I use mr scooty for my wheels I use the azure roller and for my kite I use the bowser kite and for character I use red yoshi. I feel like most people will use the same thing but I'm Curious.

Me and my girlfriend got a switch a few months ago for free off a friend and we’ve been playing tf out of Mario kart and I want to get it for the ds tour maps and rainbow road but is it worth it for £22

No, I am not being a sore loser, this is completely justifiably unfair. Idk if this is the right sub for this, but I need to share it somewhere. So here's what happened. I'm in Cedar Valley High School. Our school's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Varsity team and Junior Varsity (JV) team both managed to get into the Utah state championship. We were the only school to have both Varsity and JV teams get into the championship. I'm on JV. Our school won the Esports State Championship 2 years in a row. Today was going to be our 3rd year in a row, but it wasn't, and for a stupid reason. There are 2 categories for the championship. One for the overall score of the individual matches played today, and one for the overall score of the whole season. Our school's Varsity team won 1st place for the overall score of the individual matches, and our JV team won 3rd for the overall score of the individual matches. However, for some reason, apparently, a vote was held against our Junior Varsity team before the championship started, that we didn't even know about until it was over. It was decided that any points JV accumulated for the individual matches would be NULLIFIED (to void, invalidate, or cancel). But they didn't actually nullify them. What they decided to do, was give the points OUR JV accumulated, to the school who had the least points (4th place). Not to OUR schools overall season score, just to the school that would end up in 4th. In the overall score of the season, all of the schools including ours were separated by 10 points EACH. For this championship, 1st and 2nd place would both get trophies. Our school was in 2nd place. HOWEVER, they then gave OUR JV team points to the school in 4th place (Farmington). Our JV team had accumulated 60 points for today's matches. And because all the points for each school were so close to each other, those 60 points given to Farmington, who was in 4th place, pushed them up to 1st, MAKING THEM WIN THE WHOLE CHAMPIONSHIP, pushing us down to 3RD PLACE, and we got NO TROPHIES. Farmington won the ENTIRE championship, by being given OUR SCHOOLS jv points. WHAT?! HOW IS THAT EVEN REMOTELY FAIR?! If our JV points were given to our school's Varsity team like it should've been, because it's OUR SCHOOLS POINTS, we would have WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. And if the points were nullified completely and not given to anyone else, we would have gotten 2nd place, and still given our trophies. We got screwed over and cheated out of this. The only logic I can see is that they didn't think it was fair that our school managed to get both Varsity and JV teams into the championship. They thought it was an unfair advantage. Even so, DONT GIVE THE POINTS TO ANOTHER SCHOOL?! I'm so mad right now. It makes no sense. We still got 3rd place medals for the matches for today, but we should've won or at least gotten 2nd place for the whole championship.

UPDATE:

I was just messaged by one of the Utah Esports coaches! It seems that my statement that the vote to nullify points occurred during the championship, was wrong, the vote actually happened last year! I was told the vote happened right before or during the championship, but it seems that we were misinformed. They messaged and said this:

"Though my school didn't do Mario Kart this year, I know for a fact that the vote to only allow one teams to score points per school happened all the way back in July of 2025, where it was decided that the points from a school's second team would be passed on. It was also decided around then that a schools second team wouldn't be allowed to place higher than 5th, so no idea what happened to that decision."

This makes a little more sense now, although now the fact that we or my coach didn't know about this until during the championship is a lot weirder now, considering the vote actually happened last year. This also means the vote wasn't specifically against our JV team like I assumed.

They also said: "I imagine the thought process was this. If we give your JV points to 2nd place, then 2nd might win unfairly, so we will just give the points to last place where it won't do any harm since we already agreed to pass on the points instead of get rid of them. Unfortunately, this is how they do point scoring for state championships in sports with tons of different events, like track and field, not just 3 like we have in Utah Esports with MK, Smash, and Rocket League. The Math just didn't quite work out how it should of because we only had 3 events, and thus Farmington won by a technicality. I'm sorry you and your school ended up the victim of that. If it is any consolation, we are looking into sanctioning more esports for next year to count towards the state championship, so this kind of thing "hopefully" shouldn't ever happen again."

So apparently this point scoring system works a lot better with sports with multiple events, and because Utah Esports only has 3 events, the math didn't work out and Farmington won by a technicality. This makes a lot more sense, although it is still really stupid. I do believe this point scoring system should be changed, or at least changed for sports with few events, to nullify the points completely and not give them to another school, or give the points to the main team of the same school that accumulated those points.

I cannot remember his name, I cannot find him at all. I KNOW HE EXISTS BUT HES NOW GONE OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET.

He would do streams and videos, his actual voice was pretty monotone but he would constantly talk and barely leave parts with no words, he had a SHURE SM7B (or something similar) I'm pretty sure his channel icon was blue Yoshi, he also had a discord server that was pretty active.

from what I remember, he had at least 20 - 30k subs on youtube.
