First period after the pill?
Hello everybody! I hope this question is allowed.
I'm about to do my first IUI attempt after years of taking the pill. I've taken dienogest without interruption since September 2024, and I stopped taking it at the end of April in order to move forward with my SMBC plan.
I have recently experienced symptoms of ovulation, so expect to have my first period after many months for the first time by the end of this month. I am a little worried, though, because the clinic that's following me was expecting me to get my period "3 to 4 days" after the interruption of the pill, but it's been 3 weeks already and, even though my body seems to tell me that my cycle has reprised normally, I have not had my period yet as they were expecting.
Has any of you had the same experience? How long did it take after interrupting dienogest for you to start bleeding again?
