I see why they call it REDgard
I made a huge mistake in using cement board with this indented grid pattern with a liquid membrane. Yea it was nice for cutting but the redgard didn't want to go into the recesses even using a thick roller. So I had to go over it with a flashlight looking for pinholes. But I guess it means I got full coverage.
If/when I do this again I will just go the foam board route but whatever! The red is growing on me (literally, I got it all over myself).
