Does such a therapist exist?

Preface: I've read the rules of this sub and I'm not seeking any specific recommendations. Rather, before I embark on what feels like it might be an arduous task, I'm trying to gain an understanding of what the landscape of therapy/psychiatry work looks like at a functional level as it relates to addressing a complex web of larger (dare I say "common") issues that have shaped the behavior of a single person over the course of nearly five decades.

I've been out of therapy for over a year now and I need to get back into it. I will say that the past year off has given me ample opportunity for some self-reflection and the ability to hone in on what I think I need from a therapist. The problem, though, is that every additional need I add to that list makes it feel like it exponentially complicates finding one person for the job.

I've had two prior therapists. My first was friendly and accepting, but didn't have much to offer whenever I tried to dig deep. She was part of a large group practice and I often felt like a chart with a face, and struggled to reveal things . My next therapist was lovely. She was a private practitioner and the treatment felt more individually focused.

Without completely spilling my guts and getting too in the weeds, what I'm currently looking for is someone who:

  1. has experience with patients with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD.
  2. is open to analyzing my behavior through the lens of addiction.
  3. is amenable to and can prescribe/help navigate psychedelic-based treatments or other medicinal alternatives to mainstream pharmacology.
  4. can help an older patient navigate the process of being examined for suspected ASD
  5. is welcoming to LGBTQ patients, particularly someone who came out late in life.

Some of these things feel like things a provider would singularly specialize in, let alone embrace them all. They're all equally important to me, and I'm hesitant to put any one or more of those things on the back-burner in favor of anything else, but I also don't want to indefinitely forestall my treatment in search of a unicorn.

Any advice to help me in my search? Am I likely to have to prioritize these matters and address them in order of importance?
