Hello. My wife and I will be staying in Kauai for 5 days in early September. We are intrigued by the gorgeous coastline and would love to take a boat trip to view it from the water.

We are in our early 70’s and are fairly fit and active, but we are just a little nervous about booking a Zodiac boat, given the possible jostling. At the same time, we love the idea that those boats are small enough to go into the caves.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a more stable ride that might still be able to do the caves? Thank you in advance!

Hello, everyone. My wife and I are planning a trip to Victoria and Vancouver for the 3rd week in August. We are in our early 70’s, in good shape and fairly active. We would very much appreciate a few recommendations for areas to stay in Vancouver, and a few hotel choices. We are probably going to be staying 2-3 nights (will that be enough to explore if we want to include a city tour, including Stanley Park?).

We don’t need super high-end hotels, but we like very nice ones. We are not shoppers. We aren’t interested in sports. We don’t like noisy, wild bars or rowdy areas. We’d like to be near attractions like good restaurants, beautiful parks and scenery, maybe near the waterfront (?), but certainly safe, walkable areas with interesting architecture.
