This was my third time getting to the E4 (with countless other attempts ending at various points in the game).

This attempt I finally felt like the pieces were lining up. Normally I'm one who would try to win with something different than the standard meta but Blissey and Bastiodon were too good, and I had that first encounter shiny Luvdisc to bless the run... plus I just wanted to finally beat it after so long! I had to go with what I was confident would work.

What a great game though, I had such a blast playing it, and it's given me such a deeper appreciation for what goes into these difficulty hacks!
